At the time of this writing we are operating two of these ‘cells’ which incorporate full fourth axis rotary table machining, 240 station robotic tool system and a twenty four pallet (4-6 sides per pallet) robotic shuttle system.
What this means to you is no down time. These machines are continually making chips even while part pallets are unloaded and reloaded.

We have recently added a new Zeiss Contura G2 CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).

This tool is computer controlled and can be programmed from your actual part model file, providing increased accuracy and guaranteed repeatability. Also, being computer driven, it can check hundreds of features, totally unmanned, while the operator is performing other duties. This translates into better part quality and cost savings for you, the customer.
contura The measuring range on this new CMM is 1000/1600/600, or translated into inches in XYZ: 39″ x 63″ x 24″. The stated maximum permissible error (MPE) calculates to .000025″ over the entire Y-axis length! The software for our new Zeiss CMM is Calypso Curve measuring capabilities. We also have the IGES to SAT converter utility to handle IGES file generation.
Just one more way API’s commitment to success, provides you, the customer, the highest quality parts at the lowest possible cost.
