Sheet Metal CAD Designer / Programmer — weekend shift

American Metal Specialties in Milwaukie is currently seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal CAD Designer / Programmer. $18+ hour

Full-time, Weekend shift, Friday — Sunday, 5:00 am to 5:30 pm

Duties:
– Using Solidworks design customer sheet metal parts acording to customer’s needs
– Program Turret Punch according to blueprint
– Interface with customer regarding design requirements

Requirements:
– 5 yrs. minimum exp. programming Turret Punch
– 3 yrs. minimum exp. designing sheet metal parts using SolidWorks / Sigmanest
– Strong knowledge of manufacturing sheet metal parts
– Excellent attendance history
– Ability to communicate with customers and meet deadlines
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Blueprint reading
– Flatpattern layout
