Driver

American Precision Industries is actively seeking a Driver on day shift.

M-Fr. 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with opportunity for overtime
$17-19 hr., plus monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached.

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To drive company vehicle daily delivering and picking up customer orders and parts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

Regularly drive company owned vehicles and deliver/pick-up customer parts. Must be able to drive a box truck.
Package and prepare sub-C parts for delivery.
Package and label parts for local delivery and shipment using UPS WorldShip, FedEx software
Loading and unloading truck when necessary.
Assists receiving and verifying UPS/FedEx raw materials using purchase orders and packing slips
Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, management, customers, and delivery personnel.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

Must present a valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean record.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –

This job requires a clean driving record
3-5 yrs. experience as a driver
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to regularly lift heavy items up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer literacy required.
Forklift certified through company-provided training
