Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Status: Nonexempt (hourly)
Pay: $22/hr. plus monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached (full-time).
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To package and ship parts to customers on a timely basis and receive in raw materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer literacy required
Understanding of safe handling practices for fabricated or sheet metal parts highly preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time performing repetitive tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to regularly lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
Forklift Certification or the ability to be certified through company provided training
Valid driver’s license, CDL, and clean driving record a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
Package and prepare sub-C parts for delivery.
Package and label parts for local delivery and shipment using UPS WorldShip, FedEx software
Assists in loading and unloading truck when necessary.
Receives and verifies UPS/FedEx Raw Materials using purchase orders and packing slips
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, management, customers, and delivery personnel.
May assist with delivery of product to customers using company vehicles.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
Performs other duties as assigned.
