Maintenance Technician – day shift

Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will oversee scheduled and unscheduled machine maintenance and general facilities maintenance programs ensuring that safety and minimal down time are achieved.

Full-time with benefits
Monday – Thursday
6:00 am – 4:30 pm
$22-26 hr.,++Monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached.

Duties
*Troubleshoot and repair machinery, ordering parts as necessary.
*Routinely check for breakdowns and machine errors.
*Reviews maintenance file
*Performs scheduled maintenance on machines
*Performs building facilities maintenance including plumbing and electrical, such as
changing lights when needed.
*Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance work performed.
*Oversee work done by various outside contractors hired to do repairs on machines and facilities.
*Enforce equipment lockout procedures for all machines and equipment when repairs are
being performed.

Requirements
*Minimum of 3 yrs. experience resolving mechanical and electrical numerically controlled
Press brakes/lasers/Turret Punches/Grainers/hardware machines.
*Ability to read blueprints, manuals, engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
*Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with operators, management, suppliers and
contractors
*Computer competent with use of Microsoft Office suite
*Experience with one or all of the following machines Amada/Trumpf/Bystronic is prefereed.
*Ability to work overtime as needed
