Plant Manager – day shift

American Metal Specialties is currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager.

If you are an experienced and proven leader who can roll up your sleeves as a “doer” as well as a “thinker”, you will not want to miss this opportunity. Position Summary:  Manage the day-to-day activities including production, quality, purchasing, safety and scheduling. The Plant Manager will report to the President of the Company.

 

Salary:  $90,000+ / Willing to negotiate based on your experience

Responsibilities:
-Manage Production team, including review of scheduling
-Oversee Quality team and plant initiatives
-Manage Purchasing department
-Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste
-Safety oversight
-Manage the hiring and training of new employees

 

Required Skills:
-5-10 years management experience
-5-10 years manufacturing experience
-Strong Leadership skills and organizational abilities
-Ability to meet long and short-term performance goals
-Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management
